Refuge has a year-round manager
Shelter that gives access to the GR-241 Long Distance Trail from Borredá to Sant Jaume de Frontanyá and the PR-C50 circular trail to the Puigcercós Shelter.
Excursions to Puig Cornadó (1229 meters), Puig Miró (1309 meters), Puigdon (1207 meters), and nearby excursions to Sant Esteve de Comiá, Sant Pere de Serrallonga, Santa Maria de Les LLosses, Santa Maria de Vinyoles, Santa Maria de Matamala , Borredá, gorgs of the Riera de Merlès.

Access:
- By road BP 4654 and take the forest track at km 22'2 to Cobert de Puigcercós
- On the C-26 road, take the forest track at km 174,600 to l'Hostalet.
